As fellow Malaysians, I think we can all be proud of ourselves in how well we have adhered to the Movement Control Order (MCO) implemented by former Prime Minister Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin as a measure to curb the devastating Covid-19 pandemic in 2020. Breakout has since reopened our doors to you on the 1st Oct 2021. As the top attractions in Kuala Lumpur, we pride ourselves in putting our customers first and have taken the steps to ensure your safety in our escape room experience during the National Recovery Phase (NRP).
Customers’ waiting area will adhere to the 1 m social distancing rule, indicated by floor markers at our premises. We also limit not more than 20 people at the lobby waiting area at any point of time.
Our safety briefings will be delivered to you via video on a computer screen, and you will not be in close contact with anyone who isn’t a part of your group.
We will provide hand sanitiser and have made it a requirement that all players sanitise their hands before entering the room and upon exit.
Our employees are required to wash their hands with hand soap or hand sanitizer frequently upon arriving at the workplace. They are also required to check their body temperature 2 times a day.
We will be disinfecting our rooms after every session. Breakout’s lobby and waiting areas will be disinfected every hour.
Our escape game slot arrangements on our online booking system have been updated to avoid large crowds.
Before the MCO commenced, we launched a face mask campaign with the taglines ‘Play Safe, Stay Safe’ and “Get Your Mask Game On”, to remind everyone to be responsible for curbing the spread of the virus. We ask that customers wear a face mask to our outlets and throughout the experience both as a measure to protect themselves as well as others (even though our our players do not play with people outside of their group). Our employees are required to wear face mask at all times when they clock in for duty. Mask has to be wear and cover up to their nose tip at all times.
Customers are also required to show their Vaccination Digital Certificate on the MySejahtera App for verification before entering. 1.1- 2 Doses – 14 days after vaccination of Pfizer, AstraZeneca, and Sinovac.
1.2- 1 Dose – 28 days after vaccination of Johnson & Johnson, and Cansino.
To minimize human contact, please select the cashless payment option upon making your booking either by credit/ debit card or the E-Wallet platform.
Additionally, MySejahtera App QR code will be placed at our shop’s entrance for contact tracing. Customers are required to scan the code and registered themselves before entering. Finally we are happy to report that the malls where we are located have significantly stepped up their cleaning regimes and sanitise the premises frequently. NU Sentral Shopping Mall and Avenue K provide hand sanitiser and temperature check at their mall entrances and Avenue K has gone the extra mile to engage Stoika, a medical company to disinfect all common mall surfaces with an anti-microbial spray that self cleans and prevents recontamination of surfaces for up to 12 months.
These are trying times for us all both as a nation and the world. However, it is through our combined efforts that we have succeeded to flatten the curve of the coronavirus outbreak in Malaysia. For all of us who have dutifully “duduk rumah” and for those of us who have been made to work from home, the transition back to normalcy will take some time. Nonetheless, we are happy to report that not only are we here to give you the fun and excitement you missed, we will strictly adhere to the above measures indefinitely to ensure your safety as well as ours.
We look forward to hosting you and giving you those once in a lifetime memories again! Make a booking now!
