In the late 90s, the threat of Y2K was on high alert as people feared that technology would stop working as the decade ends. The founder of LUDDITE, a man named Harold, took this opportunity to create a cult based on anti-technology beliefs to obtain money, fame and power.A community was built in the countryside that promises followers a safe environment from harmful technological devices. Followers who were discovered to secretly use technology will be punished to death through a ritual as the consequences of using technology.
